Penlan Farm in Ceridigion is an amazing site in west Wales used by Woody's Lodge. They use the modernised farm buildings, workshop and farmland to deliver a respite, training, drop-in centre and holiday venue for veterans and their families across the UK.

In 2020, Wintergreen sponsored a new Mind and Body sensory garden at Penlan Farm.  The garden is filled with plants known to help the mind and body through sight, smell and their herbal qualities.  The garden is there for veterans to simply enjoy, or to benefit from the positive wellbeing effects of getting dirty hands helping to maintain the garden.

The garden was created by our dedicated Director Wendy Scott and a group of hardworking volunteers.
